Habitat
- A 20-gallon long tank suits one adult.
- Under-tank heat on one end for a ~90°F warm spot; cool side ~75°F.
- Use a thermostat and avoid loose sand for juveniles.
Feeding
- Gut-loaded, calcium-dusted insects (crickets, dubia, mealworms).
- Juveniles daily; adults every other day, plus a shallow water dish.
Handling
- Stay low to a surface and support the body.
- Never grab or lift by the tail.
